What Is Rayman Legends Retold?
Rayman Legends Retold is Ubisoft's full remake of the 2013 classic Rayman Legends, rebuilt from the ground up using the Snowdrop engine. It is not a simple HD remaster - the visuals have been converted from 2D hand-drawn art to 3D/2.5D, and the game ships with a new sixth world, four new music levels, dragon riding sections, a rewritten story, and the Cave of Trials challenge mode.
Ubisoft has confirmed that Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition is bundled with every copy (Standard Edition and above). The game launches October 1, 2026 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, GeForce Now, Ubisoft+, and Blacknut. The art team has explicitly confirmed all visuals are handcrafted.
